Next to New York City, Las Vegas Nevada, nicknamed "Sin City", is probably one of the most well known cities in the world. A late bloomer, Las Vegas wasn’t established until 1905. The city that bills itself as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" quickly started its meteoric climb to success as a tourist hot spot with the legalization of gambling in 1931. Given the number of hotel rooms in Vegas, it’s no wonder the Las Vegas flower industry players are desperate to establish relationships with the larger chains. Whereas the casinos need little more than their neon lights to generate business, a florist in Las Vegas needs to constantly work at networking to keep their businesses growing, making it a competitive industry indeed.
